Overview

UnLethe helps you save, enrich, review, and practice vocabulary. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app and related services handle to provide those features.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your saved vocabulary for advertising.

Vocabulary and Learning Data

UnLethe stores the vocabulary data you create in the app, such as words, phrases, translations, examples, forms and selected languages.

Sync and Apple Services

UnLethe uses Apple services for App Store distribution and purchases, device permissions, notifications, widgets, and iCloud or CloudKit sync.

When iCloud or CloudKit sync is enabled, vocabulary and learning data may sync through Apple services according to your Apple ID and iCloud settings. Apple services are governed by Apple's own privacy terms.

App and Service Information

UnLethe may use anonymous app identifiers, device records, usage details, app version, operating system information, IP address, and service logs.

This information is used to keep the app and related services working, debug problems, and prevent abuse.

Vocabulary Suggestions

When UnLethe helps generate vocabulary suggestions, the word or phrase, selected languages, and context you provide may be sent to our service and an AI provider.

We do not use your vocabulary content to train AI models. AI providers may process requests according to their own terms and data settings.

You can edit suggested content, and your corrections take priority.

Analytics

We use analytics, including Amplitude, to understand which features are useful, where people run into problems, and where the app needs improvement.

Analytics may include general app usage, device and app information, and diagnostics.

Analytics does not include the vocabulary content you save or answers you type during review.

Third-Party Services

UnLethe may use third-party services to operate the app, provide sync, process purchases, generate vocabulary suggestions, measure app usage, and respond to support requests.

These services may include Apple, AI providers, analytics providers, hosting providers, and support tools.

Support

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, message content, screenshots or diagnostic details you choose to send, and any other information needed to respond.

Retention and Deletion

UnLethe keeps information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, keep related services working, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and respond to support requests.

You can delete vocabulary entries in the app, manage iCloud sync in Apple settings, change notification permissions in iOS settings, or uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device.

If you contact us with a deletion or privacy request, we may need details from your support request to find records related to your app installation or device.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@unlethe.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the app or website.
